Although not an adoptive mother myself (not yet), I have been involved with international adoptions as a consultant to adoption professionals for many years. I've observed and monitored work of international adoption agencies in Russia. I am aware of all adoption policies, news, requirements and procedures in Russia and I have seen families go through very difficult process to successfully finalize the adoption of their child and bring the little one home. I have seen how many questions and concerns potential adoptive parents have and how they desperately search for answers. Unfortunately, the information and answers they find on the Internet, often adds even more confusion to their process. I feel that I have enough experience and resources to start a blog to help those looking for current and accurate updates on adoptions in Russia. I will try to cover all current hot topics as well as other important subjects related to adoption process in Russia. This is my first blog, but I will do my best to make it useful and resourceful.
